Junior Indoor Cricket FAQ's ?

How much does it cost to play?

$60 to register a team + $90 per team each week, regardless of numbers.

What time are the games played?

Games are held on Monday nights at 4:30PM, 5:15PM, and 6:00PM, depending on your child’s age group.

When does the season run?

The junior indoor cricket season runs from April 19 to September 17 (Terms 2 & 3).

How many players are on a team?

Each game is played 6-a-side, and every player gets a turn to bat and bowl.

Does my child need to bring any gear?

Bats, balls, and any other equipment needed for the game are all supplied.

Do parents need to help out?

We’ve got trained umpires and scorers on hand. There’s no coaching or volunteering required – just drop off, cheer on, and enjoy.

Do I still have to pay the full fee if my team is short on players?

Yes. Full game fees are required each week before your game starts, regardless of how many players show up.

What happens if our team doesn’t pay the full game fee?

Teams that pay short won’t receive any game points for that week.

What if our team needs to forfeit a game?

A forfeit fee (equal to a full game fee) applies and must be paid within one week. Teams that forfeit more than once in a season may be removed from the competition.

Is there a uniform requirement?

Yes. Teams must wear matching coloured shirts by the third round. Shorts or tracksuit pants are allowed – but no denim and no singlets.

Can players wear jewellery during games?

All jewellery must be removed or securely taped, except for flat wedding bands.

How many games does a player need to qualify for finals?

Each player must participate in at least 3 games throughout the season to be eligible for finals.

What behaviour is expected during games?

Verbal or physical abuse, net abuse, or deliberate bad sportsmanship is not tolerated. Respect and fair play are essential.

Is there a player waiver or risk acceptance policy?

Yes. All players participate at their own risk and agree to the conditions of the venue.
